It also uses patterns across products: reviewers who leave the same kind of review everywhere, repeated phrases, and bursts of reviews on the same day. The result is a trust score and a plain-English reason, shown next to each review in the extension.
Why has only a small number of reviews been analysed?
Review Radar runs in the browser of people shopping on Amazon, and this page is built from what they have scanned. A product most users look at once contributes a page or two of reviews.
