About Jolly Good Apps
Browser extensions that respect your time and privacy.
Privacy-Focused Browser Extensions
We build privacy-first Chrome and Firefox extensions that respect your data. Unlike most browser extensions that request excessive permissions and harvest user data, our tools are designed with minimal permissions and local-first storage.
Every extension we build follows strict privacy principles:
- Minimal permissions - We only request access to what's absolutely necessary for the extension to function
- Local-first storage - Your data stays on your device. We use Chrome's sync storage only when you choose to sync across devices
- No browsing tracking - We don't monitor your browsing activity, track what sites you visit, or build user profiles
- Anonymous analytics only - We collect basic install/uninstall metrics and browser type to improve our extensions, but nothing personally identifiable
- Honest pricing - Free tiers that are genuinely useful, not crippled demos designed to force upgrades
Our Chrome & Firefox Extensions
We currently offer two browser extensions available for Chrome, Edge, and Firefox:
- Review Radar for Amazon - AI-powered fake review detection that helps you spot suspicious reviews, incentivized reviews, and review manipulation campaigns before you buy
- Timestamp Bookmarks for YouTube - Save multiple timestamps per video with custom labels, perfect for students, researchers, and anyone watching long tutorials or lectures
Both extensions prioritize privacy, request minimal permissions, and store your data locally on your device.
Why Choose Privacy-First Extensions?
Many popular browser extensions request broad permissions like "read and change all your data on websites you visit" even when they don't need it. This gives them access to everything you do online—passwords, emails, banking details, browsing history.
We believe browser extensions should request only the permissions they need and be transparent about data collection. That's why our extensions are built local-first with minimal permissions, and our privacy policies clearly explain what we do (and don't) collect.
