Agreement to Terms

By using our products (phone apps, browser extensions, or related services) or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our products.

What You're Buying

Browser Extension Licences

When you purchase a Pro or Power User licence for one of our extensions, you're buying:

  • A licence key that unlocks premium features
  • The right to use those features on the number of devices specified (typically 3)
  • Access to updates and bug fixes for as long as we maintain the extension

Annual licences are valid for one year from purchase. After expiration, Pro features will be disabled, but you won't lose any data. You can renew at any time.

Lifetime licences are valid for as long as we maintain the extension. If we discontinue an extension, your licence remains valid for any existing versions.

Artsplainer Credits

When you purchase credits for the Artsplainer app, you're buying:

  • A number of analysis credits that can be used to analyse artwork
  • Credits that never expire

Credits are non-transferable and tied to your device (or account, if you link one). See the Artsplainer EULA for full terms.

General

You are not buying:

  • The software itself (which remains our property)
  • Guaranteed compatibility with future platform versions
  • Custom development

Refunds & Cancellations

We want you to be happy with your purchase. Here's our policy:

Browser Extension Licences

If you're not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. No questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are granted at our discretion — if something genuinely doesn't work as advertised, we'll make it right.

Annual licences auto-renew by default. You can cancel at any time by emailing us at info@jollygoodapps.com to prevent future charges. Your Pro features remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Artsplainer Credits

Credits purchased via Android (Stripe) follow the same 14-day refund policy. Email info@jollygoodapps.com with your device ID or email address.

Credits purchased via iOS (Apple In-App Purchase) are subject to Apple's refund policy. Request refunds through Apple directly.

Refund Processing

Refunds processed through Stripe typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, sell, or distribute your licence key
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute our software
  • Use our products for any illegal purpose
  • Circumvent any licence restrictions or device limits

We reserve the right to revoke licences that violate these terms, though we'll always try to resolve issues fairly first.

Service Availability

We strive to keep our products working, but we can't guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted availability (platforms, websites, and APIs change)
  • Compatibility with every device, browser version, or OS configuration
  • That features will never change or be removed

If a major change affects paid features, we'll do our best to notify users and offer refunds where appropriate.

Limitation of Liability

Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of our products, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or any indirect damages.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your licence.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via our website or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
